Walt “Butch” Hendrick
With more than five decades of diving experience, Walt "Butch" Hendrick is a revered dive instructor and public safety advocate. As a member of the Diving Hall of Fame, Butch has been honored for his contributions to dive safety and education.
He and his family started and ran one of the first scuba resorts in the Caribbean in Puerto Rico. They were innovators, pioneers, and leaders in the sport diving industry.
Butch had his boat Captains license before he had his driver’s license!
Andrea Zaferes
Andrea brings a wealth of experience and a passion for safe, high-quality dive instruction. with nearly four decades of dive experience and as an inductee of the Diving Hall of Fame, Andrea’s dedication to teaching has inspired countless divers. Her approach combines expert guidance with a focus on safety, ensuring every dive is both exhilarating and secure.
Bryan Bowers
Bryan Bowers, the owner of Dive Safer Worldwide, brings almost 40 years of dive experience to the forefront of our operation. Throughout his illustrious career, he has trained hundreds of dive teams and thousands of sport divers, empowering them to become more confident and skilled underwater.
